Copyright Policy
Intellectual property rights over MediaDesign.ro content, permitted uses, DMCA-style notification procedure and repeat-infringer policy.
1. Intellectual property ownership
All content published on the MediaDesign.ro website — including but not limited to texts, articles, case studies, graphics, photographs, videos, logos, illustrations, source code, visual interfaces, data structure and selection — is the exclusive property of Media Design S.R.L. or its licensors and is protected by:
- Romanian Law 8/1996 on copyright and related rights (as amended);
- Berne Convention for the Protection of Literary and Artistic Works (Art. 9);
- Directive 2001/29/EC on the harmonisation of certain aspects of copyright and related rights in the information society;
- International treaties to which Romania is a party.
2. All rights reserved
All rights not expressly granted under this policy are reserved. Any use of content from MediaDesign.ro without prior written authorization from Media Design S.R.L. constitutes a copyright infringement and may result in civil and/or criminal liability under applicable Romanian and international law.
3. Permitted uses
The following uses are permitted without prior authorization:
- Short quotation (fair use): reproduction of an excerpt of up to 300 words from any article or page, exclusively for informational purposes, with mandatory attribution of the complete source (article title + active link to the original URL on MediaDesign.ro) and the author, where credited;
- External links: adding a plain hyperlink pointing to any public page on MediaDesign.ro, provided the link displays the real URL or accurate descriptive text, without creating the impression that MediaDesign.ro endorses or is affiliated with the linking site or entity;
- Non-commercial sharing: sharing a link or short excerpt on social networks or internal communications, with source attribution, for purely informational and non-commercial purposes.
Any other use beyond the limits above requires prior written consent from Media Design S.R.L.
4. Prohibited uses
Without prior written consent from Media Design S.R.L., the following are strictly prohibited:
- full or substantial reproduction of any content from the site (articles, case studies, graphics, code);
- distributing or publishing content on other platforms, websites or publications, whether for commercial or non-commercial purposes;
- modifying, adapting, translating or creating derivative works based on protected content;
- framing (iframe embedding) any MediaDesign.ro page on a third-party site without explicit consent;
- using metadata or source code for purposes other than normal browser rendering;
- using content for training artificial intelligence models, automated web scraping or aggregation in third-party databases, without consent.
5. Notification procedure (DMCA-style)
If you believe that content published on MediaDesign.ro infringes your copyright, you may send us a written notice containing all of the following elements:
- Identification of the work: description of the protected work you claim has been copied (title, original URL, publication date);
- Location of the contested content: the exact URL of the page on MediaDesign.ro where the allegedly infringing content is found;
- Claimant contact information: full name, postal address, phone number, email address;
- Good-faith statement: a statement that you have a reasonable, good-faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
- Statement under penalty of law: a statement, under penalty of applicable law for false declarations, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf;
- Signature: physical or electronic signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the rights holder.
Send your notice to: contact@mediadesignro.ro with the subject "Copyright Notice", or by post to our registered office address.
6. Counter-notice
If you believe your content was removed as a result of an erroneous notice, you may submit a counter-notice containing:
- identification of the removed content and its former location on MediaDesign.ro;
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification;
- your complete contact details;
- a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of Romanian courts for any dispute with the original claimant;
- your physical or electronic signature.
Send the counter-notice to the same email address. We reserve the right to restore the content within 10–14 days if we do not receive notice of legal action from the original claimant.
7. Repeat-infringer policy
Media Design S.R.L. operates a zero-tolerance policy for repeat copyright infringements. Any user, collaborator or third party who receives 3 validated copyright infringement notices within a 12-month period will be:
- permanently blocked from access to the client portal and any associated accounts;
- excluded from any ongoing contractual relationship, pursuant to applicable contractual terms;
- reported, where appropriate, to the competent authorities.
A notice is considered "validated" when Media Design S.R.L. has confirmed in writing, following internal review, that the infringement is genuine. Manifestly unfounded or bad-faith notices are not counted.

We respond to notices within a maximum of 10 business days of receipt.
9. Policy changes
We reserve the right to update this Copyright Policy whenever necessary. The updated version will be published on this page with the date of the last modification. Continued use of the site after publication of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated version.
